our staff.
Janet McFarland-Idema,
ABA (Accredited Business Accountant)
Janet is a graduate of Davenport College. She started Jenison Accounting
& Tax Service in 1980 and quickly began serving the needs of individuals
and businesses around West Michigan. The business became a charter
member of the Jenison Chamber of Commerce and then in 1983, Janet became
a member of the National Association of Tax Practitioners (NATP). Since
1990, Janet has been a member of the Accreditation Council for
Accountancy and Taxation (ACAT) and since 1998, she has been an H D Vest
Investment Representative. In 2002, Janet became a member of the
Michigan Association of Financial Service Professionals (MSFSP).
Janet personally prepares all tax returns for individuals and small
businesses. She also personally assists individuals and the employees of
small businesses with retirement or personal savings plans.
Sheryl Ann McFarland
Sheryl is an accountant that has been with Jenison Accounting & Tax
Service since 1983. She graduated from Grand Rapids Community College
with an Associates Degree. Sheryl handles all aspects of general ledger and
payroll services.
Sheryl Lynn Flack
As a multi-talented support person, Sheryl has been the administrative
assistant since 2000. She works closely with the staff as well as the
clients to provide information, support and assistance in many areas.
We do utilize some temporary,
seasonal assistance during tax season. We work year round to assist you
with all of your needs and we do provide some Saturday and evening
